Summer Reading for Incoming 5th - 8th Grade
Students entering 5th-8th Grades
The summer reading program is designed to:
- Improve vocabulary, reading and thinking skills.
- Foster the enjoyment of reading as a leisure activity.
- Acquaint students with a wide range of authors and literature.
Two book requirement: (Note: Books on CD are acceptable)

Assignment due date:
- Due 1st day of school
- 10 pts. deducted each day late, will not be accepted after Friday of first week of school.

For a list of Juniors and Seniors registered for Honors classes, read the "bulletin" after logging in to PowerSchool.
Log in to PowerSchool.
Students who were not invited to enroll in either Honors American Studies or Honors British Literature but who wish to follow honors coursework may request a reconsideration of their academic record.
